1. I don't often publish proper blog posts because I feel like what I experience does not even scratch the surface of what everyone else does. There are things I write but don't post because I think people will probably think I am a gay aspiring writer, like someone who did Standard English in high school and continued to study it at Uni. Oh. Wait. I know it probably isn't true, but I think it's partially so because lately I think people, especially adolescents feel this inherent need to prove or validate themselves, or try to have people view themselves in a particular light. It's like this is some sort of race to be someone interesting or different and I don't want to be that sort of person at all so I try to stay away. It's also probably because

2. I used to think that living in crappy circumstances or experiencing an unfortunate rite of passage meant that I'd never be able to catch up to everyone else. I held onto this belief where everyone was built in a way that they'd have to know certain things at particular stages in their life and if I wasn't aware of them I wouldn't be able to let it go. Although I did try to learn as much as I could about things to make up for what I was possibly missing out on, I often felt ashamed for trying. Sort of like everyone received some sort of bullshit life manual and I came out a retard defect trying to continue living on. Eventually I accepted I was born below everyone else as if it were the natural thing to do and after a while I stopped trying altogether. I've only very recently changed my mind on this in that life isn't actually linear like I initially thought. We don't grow chronologically and there is no experience bar like there is in games. I realised that it's a lot more fragmented and layered than that. I'm not quite sure if this is right but I hope it is and I'm going to try anyway because I finally believe that everyone is entitled to happiness.

3. I think life's funny in a way that I'm never able to put a full stop to anything, ever. I mostly enjoy making the most of this in thinking about endless possibilities but it isn't exciting for me anymore and I just want an answer to end these cycles of going back and forth and never getting any nearer.

4. I used to think people only continued talking to me out of pity when I desperately wanted to get to know them and I loved it whenever they said things like "talk to you later" or "let's meet up some time" when really, it's often thrown around to sugar coat goodbyes, but I never really wanted to have goodbyes. It manifested itself in a really stupid way where I'd hold onto people's things and pretend I kept forgetting them and to me it was some sort of token to keep my connection with them. I thought by returning it there was almost no chance of me talking to them anymore, or my excuse to talk to them at all was gone. Sorry everyone.

Hooray! Today looks like a great day to be outdoors, but instead I’m inside downloading shit and slowly becoming obese on cheesecake and oreos. Oh, and those of you who recognised the title, I finally got around to downloading the new Stars album. Thankyou Kira for introducing me to them!

I spent most of my morning looking up which new books to buy despite me already having a stack I’ve yet to read/finish. I decided on ‘The Elephant Vanishes’ - Haruki Murakami and ‘Kamikaze Girls’ - Novala Takemoto. Fufufu excitement! I’m just waiting for my brother to give me his paypal stuffs since I’m still waiting for my dumb paypal issue to be resolved.

I actually haven’t gotten much study done today at all. A few weeks ago mum moved an old bookshelf from my brother’s old room into mine and this morning I finally found the motivation to transfer everything onto it. I then noticed I hadn’t touched the folders I set for individual subjects so I sorted out my 2 years worth of notes for each subject.

(sorry for being so persistent >_>) It’s now on my lamp so my room goes a pinkish colour when I turn it on! Also because of the colder weather I made it wear a beanie

My name wasn't always 'Blosia'.
In fact, my parents initially planned to name me Tony because they were so convinced that I'd be a boy, so when I came out they were probably like lul wut hapen and got the nurse to name me.
The nurse was Russian and they couldn't read his handwriting so they were tossing up between 'Blosia', 'Blojia' and 'Blozia'. They chose Blojia.
After 2 years of being the coolest person in school, I got them to change it to Blosia.
...nothing really changed though.

Speaking of Japan, it was great. People are really nice, food is awesome, fashion's crazy there- especially in Harajuku. I dunno, they have some sort of fascination with Australia. So in Harajuku I'd be shopping and occasionally asking people for their picture:

OH YEAH! My host family was pretty busy because they both had their separate businesses, so I'd be catching the train/subway myself just exploring Tokyo. I wish I had more time during the day but I had work at a cafe from 11.30-1.30. But anyway, about a week in I finished reading the books I brought from Australia so my host family suggested I go to Kinokuniya and get me some moar. However, upon arriving at Kinokuniya..

Okay seriously, what the fuck? I don't know if you play/ed F.E.A.R, but at that point I felt like I was going to get raped by Alma- who's now my profile picture on facebook. You know.. February 'change your profile picture to your favourite video game character'. Speaking of which I was tossing up between Alma, Mephisto (Diablo) and Gunther Hermann (Deus Ex) and Asuka (Tekken). Okay fine, so most of the above probably won't even qualify because they're not really significant within the game but I don't care! I think they're badass :(

SUCCESS! Yeah, I was so excited but I couldn't read most of it. I just went to the 'Foreign Books' section. I only stayed there for two hours because I had a curfew but I did manage to decide on two books. Being the clever person I am, I bought two books I could've quite easily gotten over here for a similar price but I suppose that's what comes with being a woman. Seriously though.
So I bought 'Winter Sleep' (which you'd see on my wishlist to the right) and 'The Lovely Bones'.

Winter Sleep was horrible. I read a book review on Amazon last year and I got so pumped about it! But it pretty much revolved around an ex-con painter living alone in a mountain cabin, sex, murder, painting, prostitutes, getting wezted. Waste of $20!! I'm sad now.
The Lovely Bones wasn't great either. I only read half of it and I have no intention of finishing.

Yesterday I thought I had a shift (6.00-10.30) but in actual fact I just read my roster a week in advance. I still worked anyway because I'm fantastic.
